One of the "things" to do is to rent bicycles and go around the lake. It was great to bike again - Amman is not a good city for bike commuting and parts of the bike trail were lovely - bougainvillea, giant eucalyptus trees, bananas, and palms. We found it surprisingly similar to Hawaii - but with a big fresh water lake instead of an ocean. We did not make it all the way around, but we did make it to the other side where we enjoyed the day at a different beach.
