The "Formal" Living Room and the Dining Room. In the living room, you can see a wooden cabinet - it houses a dart board (left by the previous occupants). Really I took this picture to showcase our newest carpet - a Caucasian Kilim we bought in Syria with mom and Rick. In the corner of this picture is a perfectly round stone - it is a catapult ball from the castle in Ajloun - no we have not become antiquities thieves - our local gardener sells them for 5JD as lawn ornaments. I am not sure that would be a legitimate purpose according to the customs folks, however.
