These pictures are from our most recent 2 trips to Wadi Rum - the place where Lawrence of Arabia had many of his adventures. It is also where scenes of the movie were filmed. We like to leave school on Thursday afternoon (our Friday), drive the 3 1/2 hours
down to Mazaid's camp, and then wake up in a beautiful desert with the rest of the world feeling far away. As Jason's pictures clearly demonstrate, it is a very relaxing place. The first several shots are from a weekend we went down just with Kate and Mike. The next weekend we went down with a whole crew of folk.
