The camels wander past the camp a couple times each day. Nadjib (the photographer in the first picture) took all these shots. Notice the tents behind the camel in the middle picture - that is where we camped and watched the camels come through. All these camels are female. Male camels go into heat in the winter and become extremely dangerous. They are kept staked to the ground, away from other camels.
